Bear Plays with the Big Dogs!

Last weekend we watched our neighbors Kelly and Korey's dog Juneau and it was a blast watching all the dogs play together. Little Bear proved he is not so little as he was right in the mix playing and standing his ground with the big dogs!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

We enjoyed a great weekend back in Raleigh/Cary at Rob's Mom and Dad's houses for the Thanksgiving holiday. Bear made his first long road trip and got a little car sick :(. However he behaved really well and it was a great weekend. We had a great Thanksgiving Dinner and played a really fun game on Thanksgiving Evening!

Go PANTHERS!

Rob's parents came down on Sunday 11/16 to watch the Panthers vs. the Detroit Lions! It turned out to be a beautiful day and actually a great game, despite the fact that the Lions had not won a game the entire season. Rob still pulled for his favorite team the Lions, but they lost again moving to 0-9 on the season. GO PANTHERS!

Back to the Mountains!

On October 12th we returned to the blowing rock area for another great weekend. We enjoyed apple picking, wine tasting, the beautiful leaves, some great hikes, the linville caverns and we even saw a BEAR!!! It was a fantastic weekend.

Grooming!

Bear's had his first grooming app today!!! He looks Sharp and smells good too (for now)!!

Off To The Wizard of OZ!!!

Sunday we took our 2nd trip to the old amusement park for the Wizard of OZ in Banner Elk, NC. It was a BEAUTIFUL day and Mallory and Jack had lots of fun. We also enjoyed a couple hours in beautiful Blowing Rock after where we will be returning this weekend!!!

Mallory at Monkey Joes

Took our favorite niece to Monkey Joes on Monday and it was a blast. What a great idea for kids to have fun!

Blue Ridge Wrap Up

we ended up finishing 2nd out of 78 teams this year at the Blue Ridge Relay. It was a tough race and while we were shooting for 1st we did really well after ending up with only 10 guys versus most team's 12. We will have to go for the title again in 2009! Here is a picture of the group at the finish...we were all exhausted!!!

Our New Addition!

We have a new addition! His name is Bear and he weighs 3lb 6oz! He is a Yorkie-poo! He is 8 1/2 weeks old! Mommy, daddy, big sis, and big brother are so glad he is apart of our family!

Off to the Blue Ridge!

My Flowers!

On Saturday My Wonderful husband Rob sent flowers to my work! He is so good about doing sweet things that brighten my day! I am so lucky to have him!

Emerald Pointe

Last monday we had a great relaxing day and got to have a little fun at the emeral pointe waterpark in Greensboro.

Things have been really busy for us lately but I am now back training and will be doing the 208 mile Blue Ridge Relay in 2 weeks. Awesome race: www.blueridgerelay.com . Can't wait, look for an update here after the race.

Blue Ridge Relay Coming

So i have decided to join the TrySports team on the 208 Mile Blue Ridge Relay again this year. It is an awesome experience and hopefully this year we will make a run at the title. I will post some pictures and maybe some video from the race later.

Honeymoon Recap

We had a fantastic time on our honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico!!! We stayed at the awesome El Dorado Royale Resort just south of Cancun. We visited the ruins of Tulum, snorkeled in XelHa, took and ATV tour through the jungle and even got the chance to drive our own speedboat. And of course we got to eat and drink all we wanted from some great restaurants! Highly Highly recommended!!
